Football Administration

Rev. Adotey, as he is affectionately called in the football circles, is also a sports lover. He served as Chairman of Power FC, also known as “Soccer Engineers,” the football club of ECG, working closely with household names such as Ing. Ben Nyatefe, Mr. Saah, Robert Kempes Ofosu Ware, and many others. He later became Treasurer of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and was eventually elected Chairman of GHALCA, succeeding the legendary J.Y. Appiah. 

He collaborated with several club chairmen, including the esteemed Mr. Herbert Mensah, Mr. Harry Zakour, Mr. Tommy Okine (now Gbese Mantse), Alhaji Karim Grunza, and others. He concurrently served as a member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), allowing for broader engagement at the national level. Among other roles, he served as a Black Queens Management Committee Member and GFA Club Licensing Board Member.
